Kanata is a long drive from our shop in the east end, which is exactly why mobile service exists. Most Kanata jobs are done in driveways in Bridlewood, Beaverbrook, Katimavik and Kanata Lakes, or in office lots along March Road and Terry Fox Drive, where a lot of our customers would rather have the windshield done during the workday than lose an evening.
Highway 417 west of Moodie is one of the worst stretches in the city for stone chips: heavy truck traffic, gravel from the shoulders and constant construction. If you commute it daily, a chip is a matter of when, not if. Repaired the week it happens, it is a 30-minute mobile visit; left through a winter, it is a full replacement.
