Door glass, quarter glass, vent windows and rear windshields, including heated and tinted glass, for every make sold in Canada. We vacuum the broken glass out of the door and cabin as part of the job.
Windshields are laminated and can be repaired. Side and rear windows are tempered glass: they are designed to shatter into small cubes on impact so they do not cut you. Once tempered glass breaks, there is nothing to repair, and the job is to get the pieces out of the door cavity and seat tracks, fit new glass, and make sure the regulator and window switch work the way they did before.
Rear windshields usually carry a defroster grid and often the radio antenna. We reconnect both and test them before handing the vehicle back.
A smashed window is the most common reason people call us for side glass. If it happened overnight and you need the car today, call as early as you can: common door glass is often in stock and can be done the same day. If your glass has to be ordered, we can tape and weatherproof the opening so the car is drivable and dry until it arrives. Most comprehensive policies cover vandalism glass claims; keep the police report number if you filed one.
