Gasket-set windshields, curved back glass and flat side glass for classic and collector vehicles, sourced from reproduction suppliers or cut to pattern when nothing is available.

Cars built before the 1980s usually have windshields set in a rubber gasket rather than bonded with urethane. Installing one is a different skill: the gasket has to be the right profile, the glass has to be roped in without cracking, and the stainless or chrome trim has to go back into the gasket channel without scratching. Bonded glass on 1980s and 1990s vehicles has its own quirks, mostly around trim clips and mouldings that are no longer made.
We source reproduction glass and gaskets where they exist. For flat side glass and some older windshields where nothing is available, glass can be cut and edged to a pattern taken from the original.
Classic work is booked at the shop, not mobile, so the car can sit while parts arrive and trim is dealt with carefully. Tell us the year, make and model and send photos of the glass and trim, and we will quote the job and give you a realistic timeline for parts. Collector-car insurance policies from Hagerty and similar carriers typically cover glass, and we will work with them.
