OEM and OEM-equivalent glass matched to your Canadian VIN, installed with cold-weather urethane and recalibrated in-house. Same-day for many makes and models, at the shop on Stevenage Drive or at your driveway.

We install OEM glass and OEM-equivalent glass from PPG, Pilkington and Ford Carlite, matched to your Canadian VIN. That matters more than it sounds. Canadian-market vehicles often carry a heated wiper park area, a different tint band, or a different camera bracket from the same model sold in the US, and the wrong part means a second appointment. Rain sensors, heads-up display film, acoustic laminate and heated glass are all matched to what came off the car.
The adhesive is a cold-weather urethane rated for Ottawa winters, so the safe drive-away time we quote holds in January, not just July. We use rust-inhibiting primer on the pinch weld every time, because a windshield bonded to a rusty frame is a windshield that leaks in two years.
A chip smaller than a toonie, or a short crack that sits away from the edge and out of the driver's line of sight, can usually be repaired in under 30 minutes. Cracks that reach the edge of the glass, run through the wiper sweep, or sit in front of a camera or sensor need replacement. Text or email us a photo and we will tell you which before you book.
Under Ontario's Highway Traffic Act, a windshield crack that obstructs the driver's view can draw a fine, and a badly cracked windshield will fail a Safety Standards Certificate inspection. That is one more reason not to wait through a winter with it.
The price depends on three things: the vehicle, the features in the glass, and whether it needs ADAS recalibration. A base windshield for a common sedan is at the low end; a heated, acoustic windshield with a heads-up display and a forward camera on a late-model SUV is at the high end. If you carry comprehensive coverage on your Ontario policy, most of that is the insurer's cost, not yours. See how the claim works.
Call with your year, make and model, or use the form on this page, and you will have a firm quote before you commit to anything.
If your Ontario policy includes comprehensive coverage, usually yes. We bill Intact, Aviva, Desjardins, Belairdirect, TD, CAA, Co-operators, Wawanesa and Economical directly and tell you up front if a deductible applies.
Often. Call with your year, make and model so we can confirm the glass is in stock and hold a bay or a mobile slot.
If your vehicle has lane departure warning, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise or automatic emergency braking, every major manufacturer requires recalibration after the windshield is replaced. Most Canadian insurers cover it as part of the glass claim.
About an hour after installation. Avoid slamming doors for the first day and skip automatic car washes for 48 hours.
